I love this item so much it hurts me to admit that my son is getting too big for it! Though i have a vehicle sometimes i must take public transportation (i live in nyc) and the hassle of carrying a stroller with so much people around is simply not the best of all choices. If you are able to adjust the Bjorn properly it shouldnt give you back aches. Though not recommended I've used this for up to 6 hours at a time! My son is now 11 months-21 LBs and I still use it once in a while! Still holds on like new and distributes the babys weight evenly. My husband and I have used this from walks in the park to putting the baby to sleep at night (one would do anything to get some sleep!) I started using it since he was 1 month old... Definetly recommend it to EVERYONE!! (my husband loves wearing it too)
